"Life is not about how many breaths you take... it's about how many moments take your breath away."

In dedication to my Great Grandma Ilah who passed away on Sunday December 28, 2008 at age 92. She lived a full life and we love her so much! We are so sad and will miss her always but are so happy for her to be reunited with her eternal companion after being widowed for 46 years. She has blessed so many lives and we know we will be able to see her again one day! I just thought these pictures of the flowers at her funeral were so pretty.

Cute Cameron

I had to post this picture. Our nephew Cameron turned one a few months back and has already gained an obsession for dogs and shoes. Anytime we're at their house we have to search for our shoes before we are ready to go....His favorites usually end up being high heels and boots (His dad hates it). So when Chris and I were shopping and found those cute dog slippers we couldn't pass up buying them for him. He absolutely loves them. He looks like such a stud in the coat his uncle Casey bought for him!

Who would have thought....

As you can see Chris's present was extremely large and I didn't want him to have any idea as to what he was getting. So I had to hide it in the guest bathroom shower for two days (with the help his parents). I also had it all wrapped and then realized that you could see the colors through the curtain so I had to cover up part of it with just plain white just to be safe. He had no clue!!! It was so funny to see his reation.

CHRISTMAS DAY!:)

This year was our first Christmas as a married couple, it was so special. We slept in and then opened presents, we were also able to spend Christmas day with both sides of our families. I gave Chris a grill for our new house, a car scrapper, and some socks and stuff! Chris gave me new running shoes, a core work out ball, new boots, and I got a new phone (He spoiled me). The best gift of all those was being able to wake up next to my eternal companion!

Chris's family has the matching pajama tradition which I tried to carry to our family...but it's a little hard when there are just two of you! It was definitely fun though, I got red and white and he got green and white and his pajama bottoms had a dark red stripe in them. It will be more of a tradition I think when we have kids and can have all the girls matching, and all the boys.

Family Christmas Parties!

We have a family Christmas party every year for my mom's side of the family. It was so great to see everyone! My grandparents decided to dress the little kids up and read the story about Christ from the scriptures this year. It was so cute! The little girls had angel costumes, they had a Mary, a Manger with a baby, and the boys worn robes and had canes. My youngest nephew loved dressing up and did not want to take it off. Anytime some one would take is cane or his little rag hat off he would get so mad and give them a dirty look.

We also celebrated my older nephew's fourth birthday. In that last picture he is holding the motorcycle we gave him. When you push down on the wheels it makes motorcycle noises. He thought it was so great!
