1 YeAr AnNiVeRsArY!!!!

Be prepared for a the longest post in history..... If you don't want to read it I'm not offended, it's more just for memories sake.



April 15Th makes for our big 1 year wedding anniversary! We actually made a week out of it:) Silly I know but it was fun. On Monday and Tuesday we just made dinner together. Wednesday we decided to celebrate by going to the temple and doing some sealings in honor of us being sealed to each other. After the temple we went to Ruby River for dinner. It was delicious. Chris and I both ordered steak and they cooked his wrong so they had to bring him a new one, and I got to eat the steak they messed up on. Yes two steaks for me and I ate them both:) After dinner we came home and watched our wedding video and ate wedding cake. Here are some pictures of us leaving for dinner. They are taken at our house, and of course it wouldn't be our wedding with out snow! Apparently Chris called ahead because he wanted to make sure everything was the same....Ha Ha just kiddingOur wedding cake still tasted pretty good.That Friday we took off for an anniversary weekend. We went shopping a-lot, which surprisingly was Christopher's idea, went out to eat some more, attended our friends wedding in Provo, and stayed over night in a hotel. It was so nice to get away for a weekend and just spend time with each other! Both our families were there to celebrate with us. Although it snowed we love the way our pictures turned out!(Chris thinks he is secretly a ninja:))We were so glad that it was just a light snow!For some reason I can't find the file for the luncheon pictures, but you get the idea from this. It was delicious.Chris your parents told me the night before they were surprising you with a rock wall at our luncheon, I knew you would love it. You always said you didn't want a reception, just a rock wall and a mechanical bull. Although you got your wish you quickly admitted that the whole wedding day hoop-la isn't so bad when it is with the person that you love! For those of you who know Chris really well you may find it as funny as we did that the first time I signed my new name was on a release form for the rock climbing company:)How cute are these guys:

Easter

I absolutely love Easter weekend! It all started on Friday after work. My good friend Ashley came down and we had a girls night which consisted of doing hair, watching chick flicks, and eating lots of junk food. Our husbands were at a bachelor party for one of their good friends. He is getting married Saturday in the Mount Timpanogos temple and we're so happy for them! Saturday Chris had to work and I did lots of housework... We were able to go shopping together later which was fun! The Easter bunny brought us lots of candy and a couple movies. Chris received season one of 24, and I got Marley and Me. If anyone knows us we were in need of some new movies. We don't have cable so anytime we watch anything it is a movie and I think we have seen everything we own way too many times!!! On Sunday Chris made us a delicious breakfast, he is so sweet! Church was great as usual, it was nice to reflect on our Savior and everything he has done for us. Here is ONE of my favorite pictures. After Church we went to Chris's parents for dinner. It was yummy of course and we are always so grateful to have family close by. Both of our parents are close and we love spending time with them. Later on that night my brother-in-law Casey went with his girlfriend on a motorcycle ride......and they came back engaged! It was so exciting! Click HERE if you want to see details. We are so excited to have her as part of the family!Also this weekend I gave my sister-in-law and niece haircuts. They turned out so cute! Dinner and Bowling

A couple weeks ago we went out to eat at Applebees with some of Chris's siblings. After we decided to go bowling and it was so much fun to spend time with them! We had a contest; siblings against in-laws. We tied the first time and the in-laws fell short the second round:( We all did really well though. Our last game Chris bowled a 122 and I hit 150! (It must have been my lucky socks that I had to buy at their vending machine)

Spring is HERE!!!

We have been pretty here at the Bybee home! Here is an update: The house is coming along really well. We still have a lot to do but it's really coming together. We have been so blessed with the opportunity to buy a house and make these improvements. We're hoping the basement will be ready to rent out in a month or so. One of my favorite updates is my new ceiling fan in our master bedroom. We still have to replace the windows and put in a floor but it's nice to have it in.

Spiders are NOT my Friends....

In the midst of my busy day that consisted of homework and cleaning I found this little guy on the bathroom floor!!! Spiders make me cringe! It's not the best picture because I wasn't going to get to close, but at first I thought it was a black widow! It had red on it, freaked me right out. Looking at it closer I realized it's not shaped like one, although I still think it's gross! I haven't seen one spider since we moved in until this guy. After staring at it for five minutes I knew I had to get rid of it.I did find that phone books are useful for more than just looking up phone numbers. I'm sure where ever you were at the time of this incident you heard me scream when I threw the book at it.Aside from that funny story I had to post a picture of what we are doing to our upstairs bathroom. We decided to go with a Venetian theme and I love this tile we picked out. I'll have to post before and after pictures when it is all done!

My Dad's 50th Birthday

I'd probably be in trouble if my dad knew I was posting this, he he. His birthday was the last week of February and he turned the big 5-0. Chris and I went up to my parents house on Saturday and stayed over. On Sunday we had a birthday dinner and opened presents. It was nice to spend time with the family. We gave him 50 presents to try and making turning 50 not so bad. I hope he enjoyed it as much as we did:0 He got a ton of his favorite treats, some new ties, a jacket, and a few toy tractors (he's been wanting to buy a new tractor so we thought it would be funny to get him a toy one). My dad is such a wonderful person and I don't know what I would have ever done with out him. He is a great example to me and I love him so much! Thanks dad!!
