Easter
Chris' parents hosted an Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt for the family. Tanner had a blast searching for eggs with his cousins and even more fun eating all the yummy candy! Thanks Alan & Kathy!
Trip to Cali
In March Chris had to spend a work week in California visiting his clients and going to a conference so the rest of us tagged along. It was so nice to enjoy some warm weather and get out of the house. The first place we stayed at had a playground right outside our room, a pool, and lots of grass to run and play on. Tanner was in heaven. The road trip started out rough with Will's acid re flux issues and a couple blowouts but for being 2 and 7 weeks old I thought the boys did pretty well. During the day while Chris worked we either played at the hotel, went to a park or swam in the pool. Chris surprised us by staying the weekend and going to the big aquatic center there and a day trip to Disneyland...I had never been so this was a REALLY big deal. Disneyland in March was awesome, we hardly had to wait in any lines. It was definitely hard trying to feed a 7 week old every few hours while still entertaining the toddler. It was really nice to experience the magic on a quiet day with my little family. After we got home Tanner wanted to watch videos from the trip on our phones.
Chris' work conference was in San Diego so that night we went to mission beach to let T see the ocean for the first time. Then we rode some carnival rides and went out to eat.
Tanner was not so sure about the butterflies this ride gave him!

This was the Aquarium Center we went to, it's two floors full and they even have an outside arena that has sharks in it-Yikes!
Tanner found Nemo
And tried to take Dude Crush's shell home;-)
The sharks were 7-9 feet long, I couldn't get a good picture with T in it
This guy got so worn out
On our way to the happiest place on earth...he had no idea what was in store!
He's such a big boy now
Before we left to go back home we stopped at the beach again.
It was definitely a little crazy having to travel place to place for work but we are so glad that Chris let us join him on the trip! Thanks babe:-)

Tanner's 2nd Birthday!
Tanner's Birthday was so fun this year. We kept it pretty low key as we had just added William to the family a week prior. Tanner was way into Buzz Lightyear which made for easy planning on my part. We celebrated on the day of his birthday with the Bybee side. He was much more into the cake part of it than he was last year. He was "wow'd" by all the Buzz decor. I loved seeing his face light up.
Before the party started:-)
Singing, he's a professional
Love that face
He was having a hard time waiting to dig in!
Priceless
We celebrated a week or so later with my family. More cake and more presents, T was in HEAVEN!!!
Our Tanner is quite the character. He loves Buzz, trains, cars and making friends. Tanner is such a sensitive boy. He loves to make friends where ever he goes and wants to make everyone happy. If he ever gets in trouble he usually is crying because he feels bad; and always want to hug to make it all better. Tanner is my cuddle bug, I love having lazy days with him and watching movies snuggled up on the couch. T is a clean freak lol. He does not like to get dirty and on top of that when he is done playing with his toys he puts them back exactly where he got them. He also tends to be a little particular sometimes about his things. He's very picky about what shoes he likes to wear and doesn't like to get his hair done. He loves to play on our electronics and knows how to work them better than we do. He has processes to get to his puzzles and books for each one. He's even found cartoons on you tube even after we hid it....stinker! He's such a good kid and I am so grateful to be his mom. We love you T!!!

William actually had some problems with gaining weight but that's a story for another day!
When William was 3 weeks old we had newborn and family pictures taken. I love how they turned out! Our photographer did such a great job, thanks Paige!
Tanner wasn't super excited about the photo shoot...
We love our little Wiggle Worm:-)

What We've Been Up To!
The end of 2012 was full of holiday festivities, birthdays, being sick, and new nephews!
In October we went for lots of walks, painted pumpkins, went to Chris's work Halloween party, our ward Halloween party, and celebrated my 29th birthday.

Painting pumpkins is very serious work

In November we hung out with friends and celebrated Thanksgiving with pie night, and turkey dinners with both sides of our families. The week of Thanksgiving I hit 31 weeks.

I started having PIH (Pregnancy Induced Hypertension) at 25 weeks with Tanner and it continuously got worse and turned into preeclampsia. I am super swollen in the picture on the right! I had to stop wearing my wedding ring with Tanner at 25 weeks, this time I made it to 35. I haven't had any blood pressure issues and have all around felt better. I'm so grateful for a healthier pregnancy this time around.
I love the holidays! In December we headed up to Heber with Chris' family to ride the Polar Express, went to Chris' work party, our ward party, a friend party, celebrated Christmas and the new additions to our families.

Getting ready for the train to leave
Tanner wasn't really into giving us a smile
He was also a little nervous about Santa but settled for knuckles
Handsome!
Santa came to visit us Christmas Eve at the Bybee Party
Tanner had been dying for a train set and Santa finally brought him one!
It was so fun to hang out with this little man on Christmas morning
All smiles now that he has his train set

After the snow storm Christmas week we took Tanner over to Chris' parents to go sledding. Maddi spent the day with us while her mom was in the hospital having baby Tate.
Little pals
Tanner isn't a huge fan of the cold
Chris built them a fort and it was a huge success
We are glad they had such a good time
I'm always so grateful for the holiday season. A time to remember our Savior, a time to be with our loved ones. I feel so blessed for the many things in my life.
