In the midst of my busy day that consisted of homework and cleaning I found this little guy on the bathroom floor!!! Spiders make me cringe! It's not the best picture because I wasn't going to get to close, but at first I thought it was a black widow! It had red on it, freaked me right out. Looking at it closer I realized it's not shaped like one, although I still think it's gross! I haven't seen one spider since we moved in until this guy. After staring at it for five minutes I knew I had to get rid of it.
I did find that phone books are useful for more than just looking up phone numbers. I'm sure where ever you were at the time of this incident you heard me scream when I threw the book at it.
Aside from that funny story I had to post a picture of what we are doing to our upstairs bathroom. We decided to go with a Venetian theme and I love this tile we picked out. I'll have to post before and after pictures when it is all done!

This is even funnier when I remember how loud you were yelling over the phone as you dropped the phone book on the evil thing! But I have to say that I am very proud of you for killing it on your own.
we had the biggest weirdest spiders i've ever seen when we were living in Georgia. I don't blame you for freaking out. I hate them too!

That is freaking funny! I'm not that afraid of spiders, but I definately hate them in my house. We have been finding them a lot lately, in the hamper, in Brock's bed EEEEeeeekkkk!!! my baby! So that freaks me out a ton. I better call the spider sprayer guy :) I'm glad you found our blog. It's fun to see what you guys are up to. I didn't know you just recently got married. That is so exciting. We've been married for 5 1/2 years. WOwZers! Cute blog!!
HA HA, this reminds me of that giant half monster half spider back in the day when you were living with Mel and I came to visit-- and we stood on the top of the couch for 3 hours while waiting for Mel to come home and kill it for us! That thing was stalking us!
Ewww I hate spiders too! Now that I have a baby though I have to be tough and kill them myself when Justin isn't home so they don't get my little Colbers. Luckily we don't have many spiders but we have a ton of box elder bugs!! Love the tile you picked out! I'm excited to see the before and after pics.

Spiders are so gross! I would rather deal with them then the Box elder bugs that I get like crazy in my house. They get so bad in the summer here. I thought they were bad in Clarkston the box elder bugs are way worse here in Brigham. Your bathroom is looking good. I love seeing before and after pictures. I need to do my bathroom. How ya been anyways?
Hey cute girl..I love that you threw a book at the scary spider! That is so funny because emmy came running down the hall the other day pointing at the bathroom and yelling and I went to look what she was pointing at, a huge spider sitting right in the middle of the floor..ewwwwww! i hate them too and I'm glad emmy came to show me instead of investigating herself!
