Not Much Going on Here
Thanks for all the comments and advice everyone! I've since done a great deal of researching, reading reviews, and asking family and friends A LOAD of questions about baby gear. I'm still teetering between the Graco car seat or the Chicco. I have read/heard a lot of pros and cons to each. If anyone has an opinion or information on these two brands let me know. I'm leaning more towards the Chicco, but there are still some features about the Graco I wish the Chicco possessed...maybe I should go into the car seat business and create my own, lol. Chicco FOR SURE!!!
I dont know much about Chicco my sister in law has that brand I can ask her what she thinks about it. I just automatically went with Graco.
I love chicco stuff. I had a graco with my first 2 kids then bought chicco. here's what I found: Chicco is a bigger seat and weighs more. but I think is rated better. Graco was great and was a little cheaper and lighter. At first it doesn't matter that it's heavier because your baby is so small but right now when my baby weighs 16lbs and i'm packing her around I sometimes wonder if I should have got a graco. I also have a chicco stroller and LOVE It. Good luck.

My sister had a graco car seat and loved it, but I had a friend who had a chicco and it was fabulous. I'm sure either way you'll be happy!
I have had both Leslie and I really like the chico I bought for Cambry. But it is for sure heavier. In the end they both have great ratings and its all what color or pattern you like the most.
I picked the graco because i went to a babystore where they have all kinds and they put a fake baby in each one and let you pack it around to see which feels better. I immediately liked the feel (and light weight) of the graco best. Even though I thought the chiccos were cuter. It is like Jill said packing around a 16 lb baby in a 15 lb carseat is killer! That is what I would suggest you do though, feel each one out with some weight in it. I did it at storks landing in logan.
Leslie! Congrats on the pregnancy! You will love being a mom :) It is so great! Cute belly pictures too :)
i love the name lilyl! thats my cousins name and we call her lilly bob haha!
