We started the weekend out early by grabing subways and going bowling on Thursday with another married couple. The places out here aren't too great, but it was fun. Chris got a 159, and a turkey! The next day he had to work in the morning:( but,had a good day selling. April (one of the other wives) and I went to the pool all day while they were at work. When Chris came home we went to get a Jamba Juice and then to the pool. We played a couple games of sand volley ball and then had a BBQ that was catered through Apx. We turned out lucky because we live right by a huge golf course which is where they lit the fireworks. We were at the high rise apartments so the fireworkds were eye level, it was cool to watch them from there. The sand volleyball picture is of Chris diving for the ball and eating dirt in the process. The two firework pictures are cool because it lights up the golf course and in the other one you can see the colors of the fireworks reflected in the water. The other pictures of us are from bowling and the BBQ. Chris's family has a tradition every year, the whole family gets 4th of July flag day shirts... So I thought I would carry on the tradition for our family!

PIZZA NIGHT!
Chris and I always try doing something once a week for date night! This time we decided to stay in, make a pizza and watch movies. It was the first time either of us had made a pizza, and we believe it turned out pretty well. It was so much fun to make pizza from scratch and it was really yummy:) ...and as a side note Chris loves pineapple, but not on pizza.

Just a Little Fun...
I haven't updated for awhile. I started my four classes this semester and I'm trying to get ahead so I can just play. I don't know how well it is working out. The past couple weeks have been fun though. Chris' company had an incentive competition and it went on for a couple weeks. They earned points depending on sales, and had a few side competitions. The first one consisted of a wing eating contest. When us girls showed up at the restaurant my husband informed me I was in it! I ate 60 wings! Yes 60. My team pooped out on me eating 30, 30, and 45.(The cut off for points was 30, 45, 60, and 75) We got beat by another team. All four of their contestants ate 45-60. They also had a distance swim competition on who could go the longest from one side to the other while holding their breath. We won that one, and if you look closely my husband is the one in the very interesting swim suit... Overall we won the whole contest! The incentive was to get scuba certified, which is around $350-$400. Where Chris is already certified we were going to certify me instead...After really thinking about it, although I do love scuba diving, we used the money to help pay for our 32" flat screen TV and surround sound! How we will get it home; I have no idea but we LOVE it!

Happy Birthday Christopher!!!
Chris had his 26Th Birthday on May 23. He had to work all day and I felt bad. But, when he got home I had made him a cake and sang Happy Birthday. Afterwards I took him to Chili's for dinner. I have to say that due to my limited resources, of just barely getting an apartment out here, his cake was not the best I could have done. Yes it says 62...of course Chris would do something like that!
